    OPERATION MOWING PRECAUTIONS Before operating the mower for the first time, please review the IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION previous chapter, titled BEFORE OPERATION.     STARTING THE ENGINE The blade turns when you operate the starter. It is easiest to start the engine in a clear or mowed area where the blade can turn freely. 1.
