The device remains connected to the power supply even when switched off in
standby mode. Unplug the power supply from the electrical outlet if you will not be
using the device for a long time. Pull out only the power plug.
Do not listen to the radio at high volume. This can lead to permanent hearing
damage.
4.1 Safety instructions for lithium-ion batteries

The Transita 121 IR is equipped with a modern, powerful lithium-ion battery that meets all
safety requirements. Due to the greater risks posed by modern batteries, please handle the
device with care and observe the following safety instructions.
If possible, charge the device in a location where there is a smoke or fire
detector.
Ensure that no flammable materials or objects are in the vicinity
when charging.
Stay close to your device when charging and do not charge it while sleeping.
Do not charge the device outdoors, in damp areas or where very high temperatures
are expected (e.g. in a garden shed or behind the windscreen in a car).
4.2 Setting up the device
Place the unit on a hard, safe and horizontal surface. Ensure good ventilation.
Do not place the unit on soft surfaces such as carpets, blankets or near
curtains and drapes. The ventilation openings may be covered. This may
interrupt the necessary air circulation. This could potentially cause the
appliance to catch fire.
