Due to the greater risks posed by modern batteries, please handle the device with care and observe the following safety instructions.

    The internal battery recharges during mains power. Hinweis: The Transita 121 IR has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that charges as soon as the radio is plugged in and switched on with the power switch. The first time it is used, the battery must be charged for approximately 12 hours.

    When not in use, unplug the power supply from the electrical outlet. Pull the plug, not the cable. Unplug the power cord before a storm breaks out. If the appliance is not going to be used for a long time, e.g. before going on a long journey, pull the plug from the socket. The heat generated during operation must be dissipated through adequate air circulation.

    14.2 Function sleep Use the sleep function to play music for a set period of time. When the set time has elapsed, the Transita 121 IR automatically enters standby mode. > Open the menu and use the OK/SNOOZE knob to select > [Main menu] > [Sleep].

    15 System settings In the system settings you will find the multifunction settings for the device. You can adjust the treble or bass tones and save them in the My Equalizer area or select presets.

    15.3 Highlight Under [System Settings] > [Lighting], you can adjust the brightness of the display for operation and standby mode. You can choose between high, medium and low or switch off in standby mode. The auto dimming function dims the display after set time in standby mode.
