16 Cleaning device
Electrocution
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the unit with a wet cloth or under running water.
Before cleaning, disconnect the power supply and switch off the unit with the mains switch.
NOTE!
Do not use cleaners, scouring powders or solvents such as alcohol or petrol. Do not use the
following substances: salt water, insecticides,
solvents containing chlorine or acid (ammonia), scouring powder. Clean the housing with a soft
cloth dampened with water. Do not use solvents, spirits, thinners, etc.; they may damage the
surface of the unit. Clean the display only with a soft cotton cloth. If necessary, use a cotton
cloth dampened with a small amount of non-alkaline, diluted water or an alcohol-based soap
solution. Gently wipe the surface with the cotton cloth until it is completely dry.
17 Problem-solving assistance
17.1 Problems with the radio
Symptom
No radio station is received.
No DAB+ signal is received.
The sound is weak or of poor quality.

Possible cause Solution
The unit is not in radio mode. Press the MODE
button.
Check whether DAB+ reception is possible in the
region. Change the orientation of the antenna. Try
to receive other channels.
Other devices, e.g. B. Televisions interfere
with reception. Move the unit further away
from these devices.
Antenna is not extended or aligned. Extend
the antenna. Rotate the antenna to improve
reception.
