The home page is displayed automatically upon power up after the system is done initializ-
ing. The home page is where basic machine control functions are performed.
Saw Start / Stop: This button controls automatic operation of the saw when the saw is
stopped. Touch this button to stop. When the saw is stopped, it is con-
sidered to be in manual. When the saw is running, it is considered to be
in automatic.
Manual Cut: When the saw is in automatic, a cut cycle can be initiated by touching
this button.
Mode Indicator: This indicates the mode by which a cut cycle will be initiated. Three
modes are available:
Encoder: Cut cycle is initiated by an encoder measuring the part length.
Timer: Cut cycle is initiated by time.
End Sense: Cut cycle is initiated by sensor detecting the leading edge of the extru-
date.
