Use the e 2 studio or CS+, both of which support the evaluation MCU (RL78/G24).
For the usage of the E2 emulator and E2 emulator Lite, refer to the help system or user's manual of the e
studio or CS+.

Using COM Port Debugging with the e

Figure 7-1 shows the settings of the e
Board.
[Debug hardware]: Select [COM port (RL78)].

[Target Device]: Select [R7F101GLG].

[Connection with Target Board]:

[COM Port]: Select the COM port number for assignment to the RL78/G24 FPB from the pull-down list.
[Reset control pin]: Select [DTR].
