Connecting to the Power Supply

Power can be supplied to the device through the DC IN 12V terminal or the LAN terminal (PoE+).
DC Power Supply from the DC IN 12V Terminal
Connect an external DC power supply to the DC IN 12V
terminal (P. 84, 88) to supply power to the device.
Important
• Connect to a power supply that meets the installation site requirements (approved products and the environment) and product
specifications.
• Inrush current may cause the power supply to be insufficient and cause failure when power is turned on. Therefore, it is
recommended to use a power supply with a power capacity of two to three times the rated capacity or more.
• Make sure to turn the device off when connecting or disconnecting the connector of the DC IN 12V terminal.
Note
During PoE+ power supply, when a power supply has been connected to the DC IN 12V terminal, power is supplied from the DC IN
12V terminal after the power is turned off.
