With the FieldSpec spectroradiometer and the instrument controller fully
powered-down and turned-off, plug the Ethernet (cross-over) computer cable
into the Ethernet ports of the spectroradiometer and your instrument
controller.
Standard Ethernet Cross-Over cable (shielded).
The accessory power port is located on the front of the unit, as is shown in
Figure 2-12. This port is where external accessories, such as the Contact
Probe or Source Probe (mug light), attach to receive power from the
spectrometer.
