Unpacking the Instrument

Setup
Inspect the shipping container and take careful notes regarding any damage to
it and its contents that might have occurred during shipping.
Save all packing materials, foam spacers, and paperwork for possible future
use.
FieldSpec spectroradiometer carrying case and foam inserts.
Prepare a clear space on a sturdy bench or counter, ideally, a space near a
wall-current receptacle and the controlling computer.
Carefully open the shipping container following all instructions and
orientation labels on the container.
Carefully remove the instrument from its shipping case. Use the nylon straps
at the top of the Ergonomic Pro-Pack and the hip belt at the bottom.
