REMOVAL TOOLS
The ProEdge lock comes with removal tools. 2 tools exist: One for corrugated doors and
one for flat doors.
The main feature of the removal tool is to make any removal of decommissioned locks
as easy as possible for the operator, and without the use of any power tools other than a
drill.
Removal tool for corrugated doors
Handle
The removal tool is placed on the lock that needs to be

removed.
Aluminum Base
The aluminum base provides the same geometry as
the housing of the lock.
The tool is pushed inwards and to the right-hand side
until the 4x drill bushings align up with the carrier
bolts.
A drill with an Ø7mm drill bit is inserted and drilled
through all 4x drill bushings.
This procedure will drill out the beginning of the
thread for the bolts and the lock can then easily be
removed.
