Removal tool for flat doors
Handle
Drill Bushings
The removal tool is placed on the lock that needs to
be removed.
Aluminum Base
The aluminum base provides the same geometry as
the housing of the lock and the strike plate.
The tool is pushed inwards and the 2x drill bushings
will align up with the carrier bolts.
A drill with an Ø7mm drill bit is inserted and drilled
through 2x drill bushings.
This procedure will drill out the beginning of the
thread for the bolts and the strike plate can then
removed and then the lock afterwards.
