Sequence of operations
The service display can also be reset as follows:
- Switch off ignition.
- -> Press and hold reset button for trip counter -2- in dash panel insert.
- Switch on ignition whilst pressing button.
- Release button.
The following appears on trip counter display: "OIL CHANGE" (Model Year 1997 vehicles) or
"OEL CHANGEservice" (vehicles as of Model Year 1998)
- Pull clock adjuster knob -1- in dash panel insert until message
"OIL CHANGE" (Model Year 1997 vehicles) or
"OEL CHANGEservice" (vehicles as of Model Year 1998)
is reset.
The following appears on display -3-:
"- - -" (Model Year 1997 vehicles) or
"service - - -" (vehicles as of Model Year 1998)
- Press trip recorder reset button to select next service message.
The following appears on display -3-:
"INSP" (Model Year 1997 vehicles) or
"INSPservice" (vehicles as of Model Year 1998)
- Pull clock adjuster knob -1- in until message
"INSP" (Model Year 1997 vehicles) or
"INSPservice" (vehicles as of Model Year 1998)
is reset.
The following appears on display -3-:
"- - -" (Model Year 1997 vehicles) or
"service - - -" (vehicles as of Model Year 1998)
- Switch off ignition.
