Adaption channel 11 - Remaining mileage prior to inspection service
This function can be used to enter remaining mileage in km prior to next inspection service on dash panel insert
replacement.
-> Display on VAS 5051:
1 - Enter channel number
- Use keypad -2- to enter "11" for "Adaption channel 11" and confirm by touching Q key.
-> Display on VAS 5051:
1 - Channel 11
Read and test
4 - Moving bar positioned on current adaption value 30
Notes:
◆ The respective specification can only be entered in steps of 1000 km; the display is thus also in 1000 km.
◆ The adaption value 30 represents the factory-set maximum mileage of 30,000 km for the inspection service.
◆ Adaption must be made in kilometres even in countries where distances are measured in miles. This involves
converting adaption value from miles to kilometres.
◆ The value entered is decremented down to 0 km.

- Enter 5-digit adaption value. Use "0" to fill up empty spaces.
Example:
Remaining mileage: 20000 km
Keypad entry: 00020
Note:
Fault message "Function unknown or cannot be implemented at present" appears if an implausible value is
entered.
