SFP transceivers

The device supports up to four Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver sockets,
which are compatible with the wide array of SFP/SFP+ transceivers available from
Siemens.
Note
When more than two 40 km or 80 km SFP+ transceivers are installed, the maximum
temperature at which the device can operate will be reduced to 75 °C (165°F).

Each socket features an LED that indicates its link state.

The port status is also indicated on the status panel. For more information, refer to

Compatible SFP transceivers
For more information about which SFP transceivers are compatible with the

Installation/removal

Tighten the screw(s) to secure the media module.
