Network Settings

A primary component of the WatchGuard® Firebox® X Edge e-Series setup is the configuration of net-
work interface IP addresses. At a minimum, you must configure the external network and the trusted
network so that traffic can flow through the Edge. You do this when you use the Quick Setup Wizard
after you install the Edge. For more information about the Quick Setup Wizard, see "Using the Quick
Setup Wizard" on page 19. You can use the procedures in this chapter to change this configuration
after you run the Quick Setup Wizard.
You can also set up the optional interface. Many customers use the optional network for public servers.
An example of a public server is a web server.

Using the Network Setup Wizard

The easiest method to change the network IP addresses of the Firebox® X Edge e-Series is with the Net-
work Setup Wizard.
To connect to the System Status page, type https:// in the browser address bar, followed by the

IP address of the Edge trusted interface.
The default URL is: https://192.168.111.1
From the navigation bar, click Wizards.

Adjacent to Setup the primary network interfaces of the Firebox X Edge, click Go.
