Press the applicable button (depending on type of measuring de‐
vice) to set up measurement from the top edge of the distance
laser, see Pos. -1-:
1 - Screen when measuring from the top edge of the distance
laser
2 - Screen when measuring from the bottom edge of the dis‐
tance laser
– Measure the approximate height of the centre of the camera
lens from the ground (approx. 920mm).
The measured values, the height of the calibration device and the
height of the centre of the rear view camera lens must now be
entered in the ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester in "mm".
Performing calibration:

– Select mode and start diagnosis.

You will be guide from here by the ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester
through the calibration procedure.
Caution
Light is reflected by the calibration plate!
If the calibration plate is e.g. under windows or the door is open,
reflections interfere with image recognition by the rear view
camera - R189- and it may not be possible to perform calibra‐
tion.
In this case, you must prevent dazzle on the side of the plate
by e.g. screening or closing the door.

Removing
– Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
– Remove handle with camera

– Unlock and disconnect the feed hose by turning the fitting.
