– Hold the distance laser - VAS 6350/2- Pos. -2- flush in the
angle on one side of the calibration plate, ensuring that the
distance laser - VAS 6350/2- is firmly in contact with the angle.
– Press the measurement button briefly.
The laser switches on.
The laser beam from the distance laser - VAS 6350/2- Pos. -2-
must land on the lower, extended part of the wing -1-.
If it does not, the paddles must be corrected using the clamping
bolts on the wheel centre support - VAS 6350/1- .
– Hold the distance laser - VAS 6350/2- in the angle on the cal‐
ibration device - VAS 6350- manually, while the laser beam
can be seen on the paddle.
– Next, press the measurement button briefly to measure the
distance.
– Note the measured value.
– Repeat the measurement procedure in the same way on the
other side of the calibration device - VAS 6350- .
The measured value for the distance must be identical on both
sides.
If the values do not match:
– Continue to adjust the calibration device - VAS 6350- until the
values are identical on both sides.
Note
When adjusting the calibration device - VAS 6350- , ensure that
the linear laser - VAS 6350/3- continues to hit the centre on the
rear above the Škoda badge and that the indicator on the spirit
level stays centred – correct if necessary.
Measuring dimension -H-
– Measure the height of the calibration device - VAS 6350- (you
can also use the distance laser - VAS 6350/2- ). Dimension
-H- is the distance from the top edge of the plate to the ground.
Ensure the distance laser - VAS 6350/2- is set correctly (meas‐
urement from top edge):
