1 Determine the hanging position. Observe the hob
position:
2 The ceiling mounting plate's centre point is directly
above the hob's centre point.
2 The ceiling mounting plate runs parallel to the hob.
1 Make sure that the legal safety clearances will be
complied with:
2 With gas hobs, at least 650 mm.
2 Recommendation with electric hobs 650 mm.
- Observe the specifications for the cooking appliances
(e.g. installation above a solid fuel stove).

Drilling through gas, water or electrical lines can lead to
hazardous situations.
1 Ensure that there are no lines in the ceiling at the
fastening points.

1 Determine the locations of the fastening points and mark
them:
2 2 bolt anchors inside the lock holes.
2 2 bolt anchors in the centre of slots.
1 Drill the holes in the ceiling.

1 Insert the bolt anchors into the holes.
1 Ensure that the bolt anchors are tight in the holes.
1 Check the position of the lock holes and the slotted holes
on the ceiling mounting plate.
1 Remove the nuts and washers from the bolt anchors at
the position of the slotted holes.
1 Ensure that there is at least a 6 mm gap between the
ceiling and the top edge of the washers.
