2. Use the special tools designed for this product.
3. Use only metric tools when
ser~icing
this motorcycle. Metric bolts, nuts, and SCfews afe not interchangeable with English
fasteners. The use of incorrect 10015 and fasteners may damage the motorcycle.
4. Install new gaskets. O·rings. cotter pins, lock plates, etc. when reassembling.
5.
When tightening bolts or nuts. begin with
larger~iameter
or inner bolts first. and tighten to the specified torque diagonally,
unless a particular sequence is specified.
6. Clean paris in cleaning
sol~ent
upon dlS<tssembly. Lubricate any sliding surfaces before reassemblv.
7_ After reassembly. Chtck all paru for proper Installation and operation.
8. Roule all electrK:al wires as shown on pages 1-9 Ihrough 1-16 Cable ann
