PoE
The EdgeConnect 10106 SD-WAN Gateway supports PoE IEEE 802.3 af, IEEE 802.3 at, and IEEE 802.3
bt up to Type 3 Class6 to provide power to connected devices. PoE is enabled by default to provide
plug and play capability for PoE capable devices. The cross-over adapter that is included in the
package might be needed when connecting to pre-standard (legacy) powered devices that are
polarity sensitive.
The gateway supports a total available power of 60W in PoE mode. Each PoE port can support up to
IEEE 802.3 bt Type 3 Class 6 (60W).

The AC-DC adapter kit with the following specification is used to power the EC-10106.

Ethernet Ports
The EC-10106 SD-WAN Gateway is equipped with two 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports with PoE
(LAN0, LAN1), two combo ports (10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports or 1G SFP) (LAN2, WAN2), and two
1G/10G SFP+ ports (WAN0, WAN1).
Gigabit Ethernet uses all eight wires and each pair is bidirectional, which means the same pair is used
for both data transmission and reception.
RJ-45 connector. The pins paired on a 10/100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet port are: 1/2, 3/ 6, 4/5, and
7/8.

Each Ethernet port is equipped with two LEDs that monitor link/port status and activity.
LINK/ACT: Placed on the left side of the port; displays the link status and activity of the port.

STATUS: Placed on the right side of the port; displays the speed of the port.

