Shift Lever

(H1 type)
NEUTRAL
FORWARD
REVERSE

Use the shift lever to run the boat in
forward or reverse gear, or to cut off
the engine power from the propeller.
There are three positions for the shift
lever.
FORWARD: The boat moves ahead.
NEUTRAL: The engine power is
cut off from the
propeller. The boat
does not move.
REVERSE:
The boat reverses.

the throttle grip is in the fully closed
position.

You can chose which side to have the
shift lever installed. Consult your
authorized TOHATSU outboard
motor dealer.
