ITAD OPERATION
Set Number of Rings
The ITAD has 4 ring type settings:
2 rings
The incoming call is
answered after 2 rings.
4 rings
The incoming call is
answered after 4 rings.
6 rings
The incoming call is
answered after 6 rings.
Toll Saver
The incoming call is
answered after 2 rings
only if there are new
m e s s a g e s / m e m o s
present in the Public
mailbox. Otherwise, the
ITAD will answer calls
after 4 rings. Thus, if Toll
Saver is active and your
ITAD rings 3 times when
you call, you can hang-up
to avoid any long distance
charges.
Note: Toll Saver does not function for
mailboxes 1, 2, or 3.

Press MENU until you hear "Set
number of rings."
2.
Press SELECT until you hear the
desired ring type, "2", "4", "6", or
"Toll Saver" announced.
3.
Press SET/CLOCK to confirm your
choice. The selected setting is
then announced.
Leaving a Message(Incoming
Message)
The ITAD will answer a call (according
to the current ring selection), play the
OGM followed by a beep to signal the
start of recording.
• Messages can be a maximum of 90
seconds in length. (See Setting the
Incoming Message Length) The
I TA D w i l l a u t o m a t i c a l l y s t o p
recording if there is more than 7
seconds of silence.
• To select a specific destination
mailbox for a message, the caller
s h o u l d p r e s s t h e n u m b e r
corresponding to the desired
mailbox. For example "1" for mailbox
one.
• For the Public mailbox simply stay
on the line and record after the beep.

recording", followed by a beep.
