When using an Overedge foot, make sure to set the stitch

or more, otherwise the needle may
hit
the
overedge
foot.
Use as a hemming stitch for blankets, tablecloths and
draperies.

and sew so that

needle position is 3/8" (1.0 cm) from the
edge. Then trim
close to stitching.
Be
careful not to cut
the stitches.
