System board to front SATA + internal SATA BP
1. Connect the BP signal cable to PCIe 10 connector on the system board.
2. Route the BP signal cable through the cable wall.
3. Secure the internal BP signal cable into cable clip
4. Secure the front BP signal cable into cable clip
5. Install the processor air baffle. See
6. Install the PCIe riser assemblies. See
7. Proceed to "Complete the BP cable routing" on page
System board to front SATA + internal NVMe BP
Note: This configuration does not support Slot 6 and Slot 8 on PCIe riser 2.
1. Connect the internal BP signal cable to the connectors on the system board in the following order:
a. PCIe 2
b. PCIe 3
