KVM over IP User Manual
For IBM and Dell blade servers, the entire chassis gets associated with a port,
and each blade in the chassis will appear in the tree as a child port of the
associated port – as in port 08 in the screenshot at the right.
For HP blade servers, associations are made on a blade by blade basis. Each
blade is associated with a single port.
To access a blade, click on its port entry in the tree.

Associating Ports

Main Panel Device View

Port association begins by clicking the Blade Configuration menu item at the
far right of the menu bar. The page comes up in Device View, listing all of the
KVM switch's ports, and the blade servers, or individual blades that have been
associated with them:
To make an association from the device view, you first select a KVM port, then
select a blade server or blade to associate it with as follows:
1. Select the port in the main panel.
