TO REPLACE SHOULDER STRAPS
This restraint is fitted with a harness system that does not need to be
removed to adjust the harness or remove the cover.
If the harness straps have been removed from the metal strap
connector:
A. Refit the harness strap by feeding through the shoulder strap slots
in the headrest.
You MUST thread the shoulder strap OVER the
headrest locking bar
connector at the back of the seat (as shown here). Check that the
straps are connected and none of the harness straps are twisted.
B. Refit any cover trims and/or accessories as per their instructions.
TO REMOVE COVER:
A. Remove the restraint from vehicle.
B. Disengage harness tongues from harness buckle.
C. Remove any accessories such as any Flexi/Infant Safety
Cushion™, shoulder pads and EZ Buckle™ System.
D. Lift headrest to the highest position. Remove headrest cover
by unclipping the press studs from the headrest cover next to
shoulder slots and unclip from seat shell. Unclip clip from back
of the headrest. Pull the headrest slightly forward and peel
headrest trim away from the seat.
NOTE: If the restraint is fitted with Side Impact Cushions, the
headrest trim has elastic which pulls over the Side Impact Cushions
that can be easily removed and replaced.
