Verifying the Operating Status
4.1
Setting Up the Configuration Environment
Use a power adapter or PoE+ to power the AP.
Setting up the Environment
Verify that the AP is properly connected to the power source.
Connect the AP with an AC through a twisted pair cable.
When the AP is connected with a PC, verify that the PC and PoE switch are properly grounded.
4.2
Powering on the AP
Checklist Before Power-on
Check whether the power supply is properly connected.
Verify that the input voltage matches the specifications of the AP.
Checklist After Power-on (Recommended)
After power-on, check the following:
Check whether any message is displayed on the web-based AC configuration interface after the AP is
powered on.
Check the LED status of the AP.

Rebooting the System
On the enclosure of the AP, find the reset hole on the left of the USB port, insert an iron rod with a diameter less
than 1 mm (0.04 in.) into the hole, press and hold the iron rod, and release it about 5 seconds after hearing a
click. Then, the default settings of the system are restored.
