1. Load a tape for recording.

Make sure that the tape is properly rewound,
. Set the DOLBY NR switch.
. Press the recording (@) button.
4. Prepare the audio source.

Set the amplifier input selector to tuner, then tune in the
desired station.
. Adjust the recording level.
6. Set the audio timer.
®
When the timer is set, it will turn off the power of all con-
nected components.
7. Set the TIMER mode switch to the REC position.

At the preset time, the power will be turned on, and record-
ing will begin automatically.

NOTES:
® = Timer recording will not work if the erasure prevention tabs of
the tape loaded have been removed.
®
Operations depend on the type of audio timer used; be sure to
consult the operating instructions of the audio timer you ac-
tually use.

When not performing timer operations, set the TIMER mode
switch to the OFF position. Otherwise, recording might begin
unexpectedly when the power is turned on.

Turn down
the volume
of the amplifier if you do not wish to
listen to the program while it is being recorded,

ff any of the operation buttons is pressed within approx. 4 sec-
onds after connecting the power cord, timer controlled record-
ing will be cancelled even if the TIMER mode switch is feft in
REC
position. Disconnect the power cord to reset the timer con-
trolled recording, and do not touch any of the operation buttons
within approx, 4 seconds after reconnecting the power cord.

Régler le sélecteur d'entrée de l'amplificateur sur la position
tuner, puis accorder la station d'émission désirée.
Ajuster le niveau d'enregistrement.
Régler la minuterie audio.

Lorsque
la minuterie
audio est réglée, elle met tous les
composants raccordés hors tension,
Régler le commutateur de mode TIMER
sur la posi-
tion REC.

préréglée, l'alimentation est activée et lenregis-
trement démarre automatiquement.
REMARQUES:
Lenregistrement par minuterie ne fonctionnera pas si les lan-
gueties de prévention d'effacement de la cassette insérée ont
é16 brisées.
Le fonctionnement dépend du type de minuterie audio utilisée;
toujours consulter le mode d'emploi de Vappareil utilisé.
Lorsque la fonction de minuterie n'est pas utilisée, toujours ré-
gler le commutateur de mode TIMER sur la position OFF. Dans
le cas contraire, lenregistrement peut commencer de maniére
imprévue a fa mise sous tension.
Baisser le volume de lampliticateur si l'on ne veut pas écouter
fe programme qui est enregistré.
Si l'une des touches est enfoncée dans les 4 secondes environ
aprés avoir connecté le cordan d'alimentation, fenregistrement
programmeé par minuterie s'annule méme si linterrupteur de la
minuterie est laissé en position REC. Débrancher le cordon
dalimentation pour reprogrammer lenregistrement, et ne tour
cher aucune touche dans fes 4 secondes environ, aprés avoir
raccordé fe cordon dalimentation.
