Adding or replacing memory modules

Use only memory modules designed for
this Gateway notebook.
Tools you need to complete this task:
Phillips #0 screwdriver
To add or replace memory modules:
Complete the steps in

Loosen the captive screw that secures the memory cover. (The screw

cannot be removed.)
Lift the screw side of the cover up, then slide the cover out.
