Slowly rotate the keyboard toward you so it lies keys-down on top of the

notebook. Be careful not to damage the LCD panel.
Use two fingers to unplug the keyboard panel connector from the

notebook. Be careful not to touch or damage any other components.
If the notebook has the optional EZ Point pointing device, carefully lift the
8
brown connector on the back of the keyboard where the white EZ Point
pointing device cable connects to the keyboard. Gently lift the cable away
from the connector. The cable is now free.
