Remove the keyboard cover by following the instructions in

Remove the LED indicator panel by following the instructions in

Remove the cooling assembly by following the instructions in

the cooling assembly" on page
Remove both hinge covers by following the instructions in

Unplug the LCD video cable from the notebook by following the

instructions in Step 8
Remove the screw holding the LCD grounding wire by following the
10
instructions in Step 9
Remove the palm rest assembly by following the instructions in
11
the palm rest assembly" on page
Turn the palm rest assembly over so that the bottom is facing up.

Remove the three screws that secure the fingerprint reader board and the
13
attached shield to the notebook.
Turn the fingerprint reader assembly so that the board is facing up.
14
Remove the single screw that secures the board to the fingerprint reader
15
shield.
Place the new board on the fingerprint reader shield, aligning the holes
16
for the screw. Secure the board to the fingerprint reader shield with the
single screw.
Replace the three screws that secure the fingerprint reader shield to the
17
notebook.
Replace the screw removed in
