7 TouchChip Bios eXtension (TBX) support in Protector Suite QL Introduction TBX technology allows to protect computer from boot and subsequent usage by an unauthorized user. TBX BIOS level protection by fingerprint authentication is optional – it can be enabled or disabled using manually by changing a setting in PS QL, or it can be turned on automatically by PS QL (see below).
PS QL Datasheet PS QL software represents the only means to enroll and administer fingerprints for fingerprint BIOS level protection (TBX). When a user edits his enrolled fingers (adds or deletes templates) in PS QL, the change is automatically uploaded also to the TBX memory.
