Connecting the drive

Danger of death if the electrical installation has
not been done professionally.
The electrical installation must only be done by a
qualified electrician observing EN 60204. The operat-
ing company has to provide the main switch.
For operation on the frequency inverter, observe
the manufacturer's operating instructions for the
frequency converter.
a) The drive consisting of the components motor
and frequency converter. The mechanical and
electric connection between motor and frequen-
cy converter is already assembled on delivery.
The frequency converter is parameterised with
the basic adjustment settings.
b) Connect the frequency converter (Fig. 2/V)
according to the operating instructions
610.00260.40.000 or with the attached terminal
lay-out. For the observance with the protection
class IP 65 shall be provided suitable cable
glands resp. shutters.
The electric network connection values are to be
taken from the type label of the frequency
converter.

Power supply
The electric supply of the frequency converter must
to be in accordance with the following values:
• Input voltage
• Input frequency
• Suitable network configurations
