Using play lists to edit programs
• To clear the play list screen
Press [MENU. PLAY LIST].
The screen returns to the state it was in before you called up the
play list,
For your reference
eOne disc can have a maximum
of 99 play lists and 999 scenes.
These limits may be reduced under some conditions.
eyou can respecify the start or end points. The points you specify
last are used.
eYou cannot specify an end poinl before a start point or a start point
alter an end point.
elf you specify an end point but not a start point, the unit determines
the beginning of the program as the start point. Similarly,
if you
specify a start point but not an end point, the unit determines
the
end of the program as the end point.
eYou cannot specify start and end points if you have recorded still
pictures on other equipment.
eThe unit pauses play when the end of the last program on the disc
is reached during this procedure.
eyou cannot create or edit play lists if Disc Protection in DiSC
SETTING is On (,.,_page 52).
eyou can not create or edit play lists if the disc is protected with the
write-protect tab. Release this before operation (.B page 99).
Preparation
eSwitch [DVD, TV] to "DVD".
elnsert a disc you created play lists on.

Press [TOP WINDOW].

Use
the
joystick
[&,
5',
<1, I_]
to
select
"PLAY
LIST"
and
press
[ENTER].

Use the joystick
[A,
T]
to select
the
play list you want to play and press
[ENTER].
All the scenes in the play list are played.

eYou can
display the
play lists after
the sixth one
by moving the
joystick {T].
• To stop play list play
Press [11, STOP[.
The play list appears.
For your reference
eYou can also display the play list screen
by pressing
[MENU.
PLAY LIST] at step 1.
eYou can fast-forward,
rewind, pause, and slow-motion
while play-
ing scenes just as you can during normal play
=,You can also select play lists from the list in step 3 by entering a
2-digit number with the numbered buttons (-,, page 8) and pressing
[ENTER[.
If you enter a number larger than the total number of play lists, the
last play list is selected
