For your reference
You can give the programs on DVD-RAM titles of up to 64 charac-
ters and programs on DVD-R titles of up to 44 characters.
• You cannot enter titles if the disc is protected with the write-protect
tab (-, page 99).
eYou cannot enter titles if the disc is protected with DISC SETTING
(-- page 52).
eYou cannot enter titles it the program is protected with the direct
navigator (-* page 60).
eEven if you have entered up to the maximum number of characters,
characters you enter after the position marked with "V" in the title field
and the two characters immediately prior to the mark will be replaced
with % *" when displayed in the direct navigator.
