eYou can also use the on-screen menu icons to change the audio

eYou can change the audio for the images being played with simul-
taneous rec and play and Time Slip.

you have connected
the unit to other
equipment with an optical digital cable
You cannot change the audio type when you have used only an op-
tical digital cable for connection in the following cases:
eWhile playing stereo broadcasts recorded on DVD-RAM.
eWhile playing MTS broadcasts recorded on DVD-RAM
eWhile playing something recorded from other equipment,
To change the audio type
eSet "Dolby Digital" to "PCM" (=_page 86).

eConnect to an amplifier with an audio/video cable and change the
input on the amplifier to suit the connection.
