Preparation
Switch {DVD, TV] to "DVD".

Press [(_, POWER] to turn the unit on.
Press [_, OPEN/CLOSE] to open the
tray and insert a disc.
olnsert inside the tray's guides.
olnsert one disc only.

Press [1_, PLAY].
The disc tray closes and play begins.
(The unit takes some time to read the disc before play starts.)
• To stop play []
Press [11, STOP] (When "PLAY" flashes .o page 23, Starting play
from where you stopped it).
eThe screen saver at dgbt may appear
when you stop play. Press [I, STOP]
again and you can use this unit's tuner to
watch television.
This screen is also shown when you are
playing CDs.
• To pause play
Press [I I, PAUSE].
Pressagain to restartplay,
• Auto power-off
The unitswitchesto standbyafterabout 6 hoursin the stopmode,
You can turn this feature off or change the time to 2 hours
(m page 82, ACTION--Set Up---Off Timer).
