2.4 Rough Opening
•
Select a location not prone to moisture and is located at least 36"
(914mm) away from the front of the appliance to combustible
materials such as curtains, drapes, furniture, bedding, paper, etc.
•
The dimensions listed below are the minimum rough opening
size requirements with the leveling screws at a minimum length.
Level for the smallest distance necessary for insert mounted
installations.

Create a rough opening with electrical. See Figure 2.1.
The vent grill openings on the top and at the rear of the appliance
require a 1/2" (12mm) clearance to framing.
Remove the front trim. Refer to Section 2.5 Front Trim Removal
and Installation on page 13.
Remove the glass front. Refer to Section 5.1 Glass Front Removal
and Installation on page 20.
