Programming using 2 keys

Important! BEFORE proceeding with the programming sequence:
Remove any and all blade keys from their Smart Key cards, and make sure Smart
Key cards are located at a minimum of 10 feet (3 meters) away from the vehicle.

Additionally, make sure all doors are closed on the vehicle.
It is very important that the steps of the programming are executed as instructed with
minimum delay between them, while observing and respecting the described vehicle
behavior.
Wait until the LED turns ON solid red.

Note: To skip the transponder programming and use convenience features only, press
the programming button 5 times. Wait until the LED turns ON solid orange, then
proceed with step 3.
Remove the cap covering the key slot (right side of the steering column), and insert the
first key in the slot.

If the transponder programming was skipped, the LED turns ON solid orange for 3
seconds then shuts OFF when programming is done.
Press and release the brake or clutch pedal.

Note: The key will not turn when in the key port.

Press the PTS button twice to turn the ignition ON. The LED starts flashing green.
When the security light shuts OFF, press the PTS button once more to turn the ignition

OFF.

Remove the first key blade from the key port.
Within 5 seconds:

Insert the second key blade into the key port. Press and release the brake or clutch
pedal.
Press the PTS button twice to turn the ignition ON. The LED starts flashing orange

slowly.
When the security light shuts OFF, press the PTS button once more to turn the ignition

OFF.
