PATTERN 2: Conditions ventilation openings
If you want to take advantage of the floor area of the adjacent room, you must provide 2 openings (one at the bottom, one at the top) between the rooms to
ensure natural ventilation. The openings must comply with the following conditions:
▪ Bottom opening (A

▪ Must be a permanent opening that cannot be closed.
▪ Must be completely located between 0 and 300 mm from the floor.
▪ Must be ≥A
(minimum bottom opening area).

▪ If the opening starts from the floor, the height of the opening must be ≥20 mm.
