Module programming

Refer to "LED diagnostics and troubleshooting" for more information and for troubleshooting purposes.
(For skip transponder programming, see following page.)
Ensure vehicle is in a safe location and cannot move forward during programming. For

vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, make sure the gearshift is in the neutral
position.
The harnesses must be connected in this exact order:
a) Connect the 14-pin.

b) Connect the 12-pin.
c) Connect the 10-pin.
When the LED turns ON solid red, proceed with the next step.
Disassemble the OEM FOB key to remove the battery or, if equipped, turn OFF the keyless

access system (main switch is found in the vehicle's glove box).
Important! Do not depress the brake pedal.

Place the OEM FOB key without battery next to the Push-to-Start (PTS) button and press the
PTS button twice (2) to turn the ignition ON.

The LED turns ON solid green for 3 seconds and shuts OFF.

Press the PTS button once (1) more to turn the ignition OFF.
Replace the battery and reassemble the OEM FOB key or, if equipped, turn ON the keyless

access system (main switch is found in the vehicle's glove box).
You have successfully completed the module programming sequence.
