Slide the battery out slowly on a flat and stable surface. Use two hands to support the batter pack.

Verify that the new battery has the same ratings as the battery being replaced.

To make sure that there is proper connection, firmly push the new battery pack into the UPS.
9.
Reinstall the battery cover.
10. Connect the battery cables.
11. Close the bezel.
12. Insert the two screws and secure them to the front panel.
13. Install the front center cover.
14. Test the batteries. For more information, see Battery test.
Replacing the ERM batteries
NOTE: Do not disconnect the batteries while the UPS is in battery mode.
CAUTION: Internal batteries are heavy. Use caution when handling heavy batteries.

Remove the center cover of the front panel.
