IP PHONE KEYS
The * is called the star key. The # is called the number sign, pound key, or hash key, depending on one's
nationality or personal preference. These can be used for special functions such as accessing voicemail.
The star key and pound key functions are dependent on your country's feature availability. Contact your
System Administrator for more information about available functions using these keys.
These dialpad keys can be used for any of the following on the phone:
Dial a phone number to make a call (see
Enter digits or letters in the IP phone user interface
Program a speed dial number (see
Press a speed dial key (see
Press the keys associated with a called Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system

E.164 SUPPORT

E.164 is the international telephone numbering plan that ensures each device on the PSTN has a globally
unique number. E.164 numbers are formatted as [+] [country code] [subscriber number including area
code], and can have a maximum of 15 digits.
Users can dial E.164 numbers from 6873i IP phones. The support for inserting the '+' symbol is provided
to users in the following ways:
Users can insert the '+' symbol by a long-press of the '0' key.
While using the virtual keyboard, users can long-press the '=' symbol for the '+' symbol to pop up, which
they can select.
