IMPORTANT M685I EXPANSION MODULE FIRMWARE DOWNGRADE INFORMATION If you upgrade your phone to Release 4.2.0 and an M685i Expansion Module is attached, the M685i Expansion Module will also upgrade to align itself with the new UI changes.

    Additional Information ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONFIGURATION FEATURES BROADSOFT BROADWORKS X ADDITIONAL DIRECTORY SUPPORT The 6800 Series SIP phones support enhanced Directory functionality allowing for interoperability with multiple directory sources. With Release 4.2.0 the SIP phones now support additional BroadSoft BroadWorks Xsi directories such as Enterprise Common Phone List, Group Directory, and Group Common Phone List in addition to the previously supported Enterprise Directory and Personal Contacts.

This parameter works with TFTP, FTP, HTTP and HTTPS servers.

    Additional Information BROADSOFT BROADWORKS X HIDE NUMBER SUPPORT Release 4.2.0 introduces interoperability support for the BroadSoft BroadWorks Xsi Hide Number feature. By turning the Hide Number feature on (found in Options > BroadSoft Call Settings > Hide Number), users are able to place anonymous calls whereby the user’s caller ID will not be displayed on the called party’s phone.
