Remove the twine jam by smoothing

or cutting it. Clean all residues from
the twine passage.
Lower the press roller, then close

the top cover holding it down while
pushing it towards the beak to clip
it in place.
Give the twisting mechanism one

full clockwise turn to cut the excess
twine. If the twisting mechanism
stops against the clamp, push the
clamp in manually.

Close the beak. The tool is ready for use.
Pass the twine through the knife noz-

zle, and let it protrude by 5 to 6 cm /
2 to 2.5 inches.
