    Starting up First use The fi rst time you use the equipment, we strongly recommend you to ask the advice of your Dealer, who is qualifi ed to give you all the advice you need for correct use and good output. It is imperative to carefully read the tool and accessory user manuals before handling or powering up the tool.

    Precautions for use and safety Before starting the working day, make sure the battery is suffi ciently charged (3 LEDs on on the pruning shears). Always disconnect the shears from the pole during operations other than pruning and ALWAYS WHEN SHARPENING OR LUBRICATING. Users must be especially careful when the shears are located at the end of the pole in order to prevent any risks of accidents.

    As soon as the grip’s visual indicator is no longer steady green on powering up, the battery needs to be replaced. The batteries compatible with the grip are available from your approved INFACO dealer Only CR123A 3V max. reference batteries (INFACO ref: 978P) are compatible.

    Safety instructions General safety warnings concerning the tool. IMPORTANT. To reduce the risk of electric discharges, injuries and fire when using electric tools, follow the fundamental safety measures indicated below. Read and follow these instructions before using the tool, and keep the safety instructions! Outside operations related to the use of the tool, the pole and its accessories must be disconnected and stored in their respective packaging.

    Under no circumstances can the warranty entitle to compensation for any immobilisation of the equipment during the time required for its repair. All work carried out by a person other than approved INFACO agents will cancel the tool warranty. The repair or replacement during the warranty period does not extend or renew the initial warranty.

    Advice Keep your work area tidy. Clutter in work areas increases risks of accidents. Take into account the work zone. Do not expose electric tools to rain. Do not use electric tools in a damp or wet environment. Make sure the work area is properly lit. Do not use electric tools near inflammable liquids or gases.
