CONTROL PANEL (Fig. 6)
ON/OFF Switch
This switch turns the PrecisionMix power on and off.
Fuse Indicators
The three indicators light when the ON/OFF switch is
ON. If an indicator is not lit, replace its associated fuse.
Electrical Test Points
For service use only .
Fuses
There are separate fuses (shown) for each circuit in the
PrecisionMix, plus a 2-amp fuse on the inside of the pow-
er card (see Fig 4).
Cycle Count Displays
These digital displays show the cycle count for compo-
nents A and B as they are being metered through the vol-
ume counters. They are controlled by signals from the
volume counter sensors.
Refer to "SETPOINT Selectors" below. With all volume
counters, the numbers on the cycle count displays repre-
sent 0.25 cc/count.
Display Indicators
An ON indicator (clear) lights while its corresponding dis-
pense valve is open and allowing fluid flow from that vol-
ume counter to the mixing block.
A
indicator (red) blinks when the system has counted
out an "underrun" of its component –– that is, when the
atomizing air flow is on and fluid hasn't metered for the
time set into the time control for that component.
A
indicator (red) blinks when the system has counted
out an "overrun" of its component –– that is, when the ac-
tual count is more than the TOLERANCE setting plus the
OVERFLOW setting.
A "t" indicator (clear) lights when the air is flowing to the
gun, and the timer is running.

START Button
This switch starts PrecisionMix operation.
An external contactor can be connected to terminals on
the rear of the control box to accomplish this function.
STOP Button
This switch stops PrecisionMix operation, by deenergiz-
ing the component solenoids and thus closing the dis-
pense valves. It also resets the electronics in preparation
for restarting. If the machine stops for any other reason,
you must press STOP to clear the program before re-
starting (and it will restart at the same cycle count where it
left off).
An external contactor can be connected to terminals on
the rear of the control box to accomplish this function.
MAN Button
This switch starts PrecisionMix operation for three dis-
pense cycles of each component, and then stops the sys-
tem. The alarms and the tolerance controls do not func-
tion during this sequence. You must press STOP to clear
the program before pressing MAN.
An external contactor can be connected to terminals on
the rear of the control box to accomplish this function.
TOLERANCE Selectors (A and B)
These controls determine the overflow tolerance which
the system allows before shutting down if the preset
count (on the SETPOINT selectors) is exceeded.
SETPOINT Selectors (A and B)
These controls determine the volume of components A
and B which will be run through the volume counters dur-
ing each count cycle.
For ease of selecting the correct ratio of A and B compo-
nents, the numbers on the SETPOINT selectors (and the
numbers on the cycle count displays) indicate cc's
