PROBLEM
No material flow (or
not enough).
Fluid not properly mixed.
Solvent flush won't
operate.
Fluid leaks from weep
hole on side of dispense
or flush valve.
TROUBLESHOOTING CHART (CONT.)
CAUSE
Dispense valves closed too far.
Fluid shut-off valves closed too far.
Volume counter overrun.
Flashing red LED
.
Volume counter underrun.
Flashing red LED
.
System was just turned on.
ON/OFF switch is turned ON.
Low solvent supply or pressure.
Blockage in system.
Pot life exceeded.
Loose packing inside fluid housing.
SOLUTION
Open valve knobs further (counter-
clockwise).
Turn shut-off knobs all the way coun-
terclockwise.
Reduce the fluid flow by turning
the dispense valve knobs clockwise
1/4 or 1/2 turn.
Reduce air pressure on fluid supply
tank, to reduce material flow.
Refill fluid tank (air passing through
the volume counter will cause
overrun).
Clean the fluid filter and inspect
for blockage.
Increase air pressure on fluid supply
tank, to increase fluid flow.
Turn the dispense valve knobs
counterclockwise 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
Check mixer system to be sure lines
are clear. Flush the system and
check the integrator.
Check that all spray gun openings
are free.
Be sure the TIME LIMIT timer is
adjusted properly.
Normal: do not use the first 4 to 5
oz. of paint after startup.
Turn switch OFF.
Be sure the solvent tank is full of sol-
vent and charged with air.
Check the solvent flush valve knob:
if turned all the way in, the valve
won't open and no solvent can flow
through.
Check the spray gun for blockage.
Be sure the potlife of the fluid hasn't
been exceeded.
Tighten packing nut. Refer to parts
list drawing: ref. no. 20 on dispense
valve; ref. no. 7 on flush valve.
