supported by the CCU, then Eng-
lish will be automatically selected.
Once paired, the Yamaha Motor-
cycle Connect app will open auto-
matically when a
connection is established and will
connect to the CCU automatically
(This functionality varies by smart-
phone and/or OS versions. Refer
to the Yamaha Motorcycle Con-
nect app for more details).
Navigation system: Garmin Street-
Cross
WARNING
Always stop the vehicle before
operating the navigation sys-
tem.
Always concentrate on riding by
keeping your eyes and mind on
the road.
Bluetooth
This vehicle is equipped with a naviga-
tion system which provides visual and
audio route guidance. To use the navi-
gation system, you must first down-
load the Garmin StreetCross app from
an application store on a smartphone
and then register for its service.

Use of the Garmin StreetCross
app is subject to your agreement
to the Garmin StreetCross terms
of use.
Yamaha shall not be liable for any
damages resulting from the use of

Smartphone Connectivity System

The smartphone must remain un-
locked and the Garmin Street-
Cross app must be kept in the
foreground in order to ensure the
smartphone does not sleep (lock).
If another app's function moves
the Garmin StreetCross app to the
background (phone call, alarm,
etc.) the smartphone may sleep
(lock) and the navigation may
stop.
The Garmin StreetCross app's
GPS access permissions must be
set to "Always allow" on your
smartphone's settings.
The Garmin StreetCross app may
not work on all smartphones or
OS (operating system) versions.
While route guidance is active, the
weather information at the desti-
nation will be displayed. If the des-
tination is more than 1 hour away,
the weather information will be
from a location 1 hour away on
route to the destination.
