You will be prompted to choose the location
of the driver files. Select Specify a location
and click Next.

The dialog shown at right will be displayed; click
Browse.

In the Locate File dialog, select the CD-ROM
dr ive containing the Nikon Scan 3.1 CD
(Nkscan) from the Look in pop-up menu and
double-click the INF folder. Open the
Win2000 folder under the 8000ED folder and
click Open. This will return you to the dialog
shown in Step 11-6; click OK.

Windows has located the information it needs
to register the scanner. Click Next.
